April 20-22, 2020 on the basis of the Odessa National Academy of Communications named after OS Popov, the 2nd stage of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers took place. For the first time, due to the situation in the country, the competition was held online.
34 student works from 14 universities of Ukraine were presented at the competition in 2 sections. In particular, the Institute of Telecommunication Systems was represented by students of the Department of Information and Telecommunication Networks – Butsyk Alexander, Minich Marina, Moroz Anastasia. Each of the students prepared and presented at a high level scientific work on a topical scientific topic in the field of information and telecommunications technologies. The works were highly appreciated by the competition commission:
Moroz Anastasiia with the work “Analysis and forecasting of loyalty of subscribers in the telecommunication network on the basis of machine learning technology” (supervisor Prof. Globa LS) took the second prize.
Minich Marina with the work “Study of the effectiveness of methods of monitoring moving objects in smart home systems” (head Assoc. Prof. Mogilny SB) won 4th place.
Butsyk Oleksandr with the work “Research of recognition algorithms in traffic management systems” (head Assoc. Prof. Mogilny SB) took 16th place. and as. Kurdechi VV for the work performed at a high level to prepare for the participation of ITS students in the competition.
