The Graduate and Doctoral Studies Department reminds you that:
according to the academic schedule, departmental reporting for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year students is planned for February
We emphasize that at the end of each year of study, at least one article must be published in scientific publications included in the list of scientific professional publications of Ukraine, or in periodical scientific publications indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection and/or Scopus databases
Applicants who have certain gaps in their publication activity should intensify their work in this direction.
The certification (defense) procedure began on January 1.
Fourth-year applicants who received positive reports in December have nine months to successfully complete the certification and finalize the result by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy degree within the terms of study, i.e., by September 30, 2026.
It is not worth delaying the start of the certification procedure, as the academic secretary’s department has certain resource limitations and will simply not be able to physically process the entire flow of applicants wishing to defend their theses at the last minute.
